This spec was a multi-faceted content development project inspired by the 2019 collaboration between Nike and Jun Takahashi of Undercover. The initial lookbook produced by Undercover showed the shoe worn by several men performing a series of erratic dance/martial arts movements. Our project pulled inspiration from the wardrobe and martial arts nature of the lookbook, and we sought out a location and wardrobe that would mimic this.

The design of the shoe is intended to capture "chaos" and "balance", terms that are typically associated with Yin and Yang – this concept was the leading principle to the video's art direction, as the shots switch quickly from a serene garden to the chaotic swarming of swift birds.
